Artist's Comments
This is my entry for
 's contest [link]  The original is landscape and she is standing up, but when I began drawing I liked the look of it this way, as if she were lying down. So I rotated it and changed a few bits of her hair to further that effect.  I spent the most time on the eyes, nose and lips as I really wanted the face to stand out from the rest of the drawing, so all the other bits are blurred and less detailed. I'm pretty pleased with how it turned out. Time spent: 30+ hours A4 4B, 2B and mechanical pencils Rubber Thanks for looking!  |
