I watched John Q last night (has anyone seen it?) and I cried like a baby. I fall apart at movies.
I felt like drawing a face today and because John Q was still fresh in my mind I decided to draw the main character, played by Denzel Washington. This took me about 3 1/2 hours to complete but I'm very proud of it. It's 9 x 18cm and I used HB and 4B pencils, and my faithful blending tortillon.

Tell me what you think. I'm not very good at drawing likeness but I don't think I did that badly on this one.

Finally i found a john q fanart. when I typed "john q" in the searcher, i got some shitty my little pony fanart. It is a shame that such a good movie have much less fanart than shit like my little pony.
