I spent about 15 hours on this, and my scanner has decided to destroy it by completely ruining the tones and making it insanely grainy (what a rhyme). So this looks pretty crappy, but it IS better in real life.
 Used B, 2B, 4B and 9B pencils Stump and tissue Ordinary cartridge paper (not as grainy as the scan looks, grr!) Anyway, evil scanner aside, I loved drawing this. There's so many great photos of Marilyn that have the perfect tones and contrast to draw. I plan to do more!  |

We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you  the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on.
