Artist's Comments

Ok, first of all I would like to apologise for the quality of this. It's done on A2 and so is too big for my scanner, so I took a photo of it. It looks much worse as a photo. :(

This is my big piece for some of my GCSE Art coursework. I found the picture on Google. I'm quite proud of it and I hope it gets me a good grade! :aww: It took me around 6 hours to complete, and I used a variety of pencils. Let me know what you think! :)

Oh yes, and I'm wondering whether I should do a background or not. I think it looks a little bare, but I don't want to draw a background and then regret it! Any ideas?

Hmm. I dont know about using a background. If I was to use one, I would use a sublte one like a beach by the sea, or possibly a derset or a plains setting?, so it doesnt compete with the main body of the drawing.

Other then that its a fantastic drawing, so fluent and graceful.

good luck on your GCSE's *crosses fingers, but I am sure you wont have any bother :)
